Baltimore City College is a public magnet high school located in Baltimore, Maryland. As a classroom teacher, J.D. was tasked with bringing a team together to build a new library at the school. 

 

Development

Directed a $2,210,000 capital campaign to rebuild and modernize a 13,000 square foot library. Solicited gifts from over 1000 individuals, 6 foundations, 5 corporations, and 2 government entities. Developed a Class Challenge campaign that raised over $75,000 in small dollar donations.
